    ​Tuesday's meeting in the Asharqia Chamber reviews the business sector partnership in the charitable sector​

    Tuesday’s monthly meeting of businessmen and women in the Asharqia Chamber affirmed the keenness of the business sector in the region to provide support to the charitable sector, including the institutions and associations concerned with providing content, activities and responsible programs to all members of society.​​

    ​The meeting, which was held on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020, at the headquarters of the Chamber, attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, Director of the Waa’i Association Branch in the Eastern Region, Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Saleem, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Baraka Charitable Society Eng. Nasser bin Jubran Al-Shahrani, where they spoke on the most prominent programs offered by the two societies and the participation of the business sector in supporting these programs with development ideas and initiatives that help them implement their activities and continue their work.

    Al-Saleem explained during the meeting, which was attended by Eng. Najeeb bin Abdullah Al-Saihati, a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and managed by the Secretary-General Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, that the association's fields of work are numerous and specialize in voluntary awareness and financial, family, technical, national and health awareness, noting that the association offers a large package of programs, most notably personal Balanced Training and Qualification, IOT App Awareness Program, Marketing Platforms for Technical Skills (E-Commerce), Small Trader and Mubadar Youth Club, Traffic Safety, School Safety Program (I am safe) in addition to other programs.

    For this part, Al-Shahrani explained that Al-Baraka Association provides through its mission charitable social services in accordance with the best institutional practices, pointing out that the association aims to qualify beneficiaries for a better life and closer cooperation with all governmental, charitable and private sectors in a way that serves the association’s mission, and also develop financial resources to achieve financing self-Assembly and family reform and to address social problems and reduce its impact, and to provide cash and in-kind assistance and advisory beneficiaries.

    On the association’s programs, Al-Shahrani said that a number of programs are offered by the association, including charity, the garment, the bag, the school uniform, the basket, the family reform, the relief of distress, the care of families, and the watering of the blessing​.

    ​In conclusion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, honored the guests of the meeting, the director of the conscious branch of the Association in the Eastern Region, Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Saleem, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Baraka Charitable Society, Eng. Nasser bin Jubran Al-Shahrani, with two commemorative shields.​
